Please do not checkout without selecting a date and time, so that it will be scheduled into our online calendar.  Please email help@amycakesbakery.com if you have issues checking out and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Please double check that you have chosen the correct pick-up DATE and TIME before checking out.

Amycakes is not a nut-free or gluten-free bakery.  While many of our products do not contain nuts, we do work with nuts in our small kitchen on a daily basis.  We do not offer any gluten-free or special diet items on our menu at this time.

Please read our Travelling and Refrigeration recommendations.  Our products are made with real butter and can melt.  Amycakes is not responsible for melted products or cakes damaged during transport.  

Delivery Policy:
Please make sure someone is home to accept your delivery during your chosen time range.  We will deliver during your chosen time frame and send a text to the number you prefer when the delivery driver is on their way.  We work with Cargo, a local delivery company that is not affiliated with Amycakes, and the driver will not be able to return the product to us if not one home to accept their delivery.  They will try to contact the recipient but then they will have to leave the product on the doorstep.  Cakes and cupcakes need to be brought inside ASAP and kept refrigerated.  They will melt in warm conditions.   Amycakes is not responsible for melted or stolen products.  

Cancellation Policy:

For last minute orders or orders placed with 8 days or less notice:
Due to the time-sensitive nature of our perishable products, all Grab Bag cakes and orders placed with 8 days' notice or less are final. Please double check that you have chosen the correct pick-up DATE and TIME before checking out.  You can always email us or text us during curbside hours (Text 417-430-4220 Tu/Th/Fri/Sat 11-3) to see if there's a possibility that we can postpone or freeze your order.

For weddings and large advanced orders with 3+ month's notice: Customers have the option of putting down a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve the date AFTER the details are pinned down.  Details may be pinned down with Amy through email at help@amycakesbakery.com.  This deposit is subtracted from the final balance.  50% of the remaining final balance is due 3 months before the wedding, and the remaining balance is due 1 month before the wedding.  With one month's notice, we can cancel or downsize and refund your order minus a 25% fee of the total amount being refunded (and minus the $100 non-refundable deposit).  This is to cover the credit card cancellation fees we are charged and the space we had reserved for you.  We are not able to alter or cancel the order with less than one month's notice.  The $100 non-refundable deposit is not transferable to another date unless 1 month's notice is given and the new date is available.  

For changes to all other orders:
When you place a large order with us, we reserve your spot and turn many people down once we book up.  Therefore, tiered cakes, larger Amycakes, wedding orders and large orders over $175 require one month's notice to alter or downsize your order.   Cancelled or downsized orders with more than one month's notice can be reimbursed minus a 7% cancellation fee due to the credit card fees we are charged.  With less than one month's notice but more than 3 weeks' notice we can issue store credit.  We can not alter or cancel tiered cakes, larger Amycakes, wedding orders and large orders over $175 with less than 3 weeks' notice due to the space we have reserved for you.  You can always email us or text us during curbside hours (Text 417-430-4220 Tu/Th/Fri/Sat 11-3) to see if there's a possibility that we can postpone or freeze your order, subject to availability.

For non-tiered 6" & 8" cakes and cupcake, truffle or cinnamon roll orders under $175, cancelled orders with more than 3 week's notice can be reimbursed minus a 7% cancellation fee due to the credit card fees we are charged. With less than 3 week's notice but more than 8 days' notice, orders will be reimbursed as store credit. We can not alter or cancel orders with less than 8 days' notice. You can always email us or text us during curbside hours (Text 417-430-4220 Tu/Th/Fri/Sat 11-3) to see if there's a possibility that we can postpone or freeze your order.

We have a very small staff and work as hard as possible to perfect every order. If you feel like there has been a mistake with your order, please let us know at pick-up. If that's not possible please email us ASAP at help@amycakesbakery.com or text us during curbside hours (Text 417-430-4220 Tu/Th/Fri/Sat 11-3) and we will do everything we can to fix it.
