Our Amycakes Team

Amy has loved to bake all her life, and as a child loved baking with her Grandma.  During her years in college she found herself tweaking recipes and baking at all hours of the night. The most rewarding part was finding hungry friends to test the finished product — and they weren't hard to find! She graduated from Drury in 2008 with an Arts Administration degree, and decided baking was the only thing she could see herself doing for the rest of her life. It's an art form and a science, and she'll never grow tired of creating the perfect dessert!  Flavor is the most important element to Amy. When she's not living at the bakery, Amy enjoys quality time with family, friends, her husband, Gabe (business owner and glass-maker at Springfield Hot Glass), and their two vicious fluffballs of dogs, Charlie and Cupcake.  They welcomed their first "Babycake" in January of 2017.

 

Paige can usually be found working swiftly in the back of Amycakes, whether it's baking, frosting, or decorating--Paige does it all!  Originally from Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, Paige got her Culinary Arts Degree at East Central College in Union, MO, where she was also Captain of the Volleyball Team.

 

Katlin grew up on a farm and loves the farm life! She always helped her mom in the kitchen, where she discovered how much she loves to bake. She graduated from Marshfield High and attended OTC for 2 years, studying Wildlife Biology. In her spare time, Katlin loves reading, crafting, spending time with her husband, and helping out on her parents' farm. 



Dalton is a musical theatre major at Missouri State University. You may see him up front with our assortment of delicious daily sweets, or in the back making batches of our house-made buttercream frosting

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kendyl studies marketing and entrepreneurship at Drury University. She enjoys traveling, going to concerts and music festivals, and cooking. She is inspired by small businesses and hopes to open her own in the near future!
